Super Surfaces was an exhibition organized by Pudding Projects and chief curator Moon Jung Jang. It brought together designers from various disciplines to explore the idea of the surface. The work presented ranged from 2-d graphics to sculpture and even sound installation. It was a unique opportunity for designers to work outside of their usual form and come together to contemplate the way they approach a visual surface.

Artist Statement

“Everyday Surfaces”, cyanotype print, cloth, 2 (145 x 145 mm), 2018

Every tool we use in our daily lives has a surface called an interface. "Everyday Surfaces" is a project that captures these interactions in a single image using cyanotype photography on cloth. Taken over the course of eight hours, similar to a day's work, the images capture the consciousness of how we use surfaces on our tools.
